The elegant Rising Sun Hotel is a newly opened resort located in the central business district of Dar-es-Salaam near the seaport. Despite the pivotal central location, the hotel remains to offer serenity amidst the bustle of one of Tanzania’s most vibrant cities.
Kariakoo is undisputed business venue of choice - both for visiting executives and for regional corporate event planners; The Rising Sun Hotel offers an unrivalled choice of executive rooms complimented by the serene aura.
We offer four ranges of room types, all of which are elegantly presented in a fusion of international and pan-African style. All our rooms are equipped with: split unit air-conditioning; a telephone; mini fridge; flat-screen satellite TV and 24-hour room service.
While most of our rooms are designated non-smoking, an ashtray is provided upon request for the smokers.
The majority of our rooms are Double Standard and to which most have view of the city and of the underground Kariakoo market. Besides, we have Twin Bed rooms which too enjoy the latter two views not to mention the numerous shopping stalls; Double Deluxe partly enjoys these fascinating views. This however depends upon the floor that you are booked in.
Our Deluxe Rooms and Double standard have queen-sized bed (5x6ft)…
